Monday, 1 July 2019, Berlin, Germany: The American Chamber of Commerce in Germany (AmCham) hosted a reception at the Haus der Commerzbank direct at the world famous Brandenburg Gate, for visiting Senator Dr Rand Paul from the State of Kentucky. 

The senator’s keynote allocution was held after a brief presentation by US Ambassador to Germany, Richard Grenell. Senator Paul talked about transatlantic trade and business, at one point noting, “the more we trade, the less we fight” as he is known for his positive stances on transatlantic relations.

Senator Paul serves in the US Senate since 2011, he is a Republican and an educated ophthalmologist.
